Step 2: Fill the application form (not binding!)
You can directly apply for your desired program through our website. The application forms are linked on the Application page and on the pages for each program we offer. You can already attach the documents we need to start your university placement process directly to the application form.
Step 3: Meet your consultant
Based on the information submitted in your application form, we match you with one of our experienced education consultants who will then contact you within 72 hours to explain the further process and our pricing model and tell you which further documents we need to proceed with your application. Then you can decide whether you would like to work with us. If you choose to do so, we will send you our service agreement, you will sign this, send it back to us and pay the registration fee.

Which documents do I need to submit?
The documents you will need to submit depend on the university and study program you are interested in, as each university can have their own admission criteria. However, some documents are always necessary and you can already submit them when you apply to us.
For all programs:
Scan/copy of your passport (data page with picture),
high school leaving certificate,
transcript of records from your high school,
For Bachelors additionally:
Proof of language proficiency for your chosen study language (English and/or German)
For Masters additionally:

transcript of records from your previously obtained degree
We do not need original documents or hard copies to start processing your application. However any document you send to us should be in English or German. If your document was originally issued in another language than English or German, you need to get it translated by an authorized and sworn translator in your country. Other documents that might be needed for certain degree programs can include a CV, letter of motivation, letter of recommendation or proof of previous work experience or internships. Your consultant will let you know if you need to submit any of those for your desired program.
What is the difference between you and UNI-ASSIST?
UNI-ASSIST is a service provider for universities whose core business is to check the credentials and academic certificates of non-EU foreigners and to establish comparability with German degrees. UNI-ASSIST therefore mainly represents the interest of the universities.
We are a private education consulting agency. We do not simply check your documents, but we help you find the right study program and make sure your documents are complete and in accordance with admission procedures, guidelines and deadlines. We are "on your side", and we work in your favor. We represent our applicants' and clients' interests and make sure they succeed and get admitted to study programs in Germany. We work with UNI-ASSIST if needed, as certain universities have an application with UNI-ASSIST as part of their application procedure. However, our service includes much more than this.
Which programs do you offer?
We can place you in Bachelor/Undergraduate study programs, Master/Graduate study programs, preparatory courses (Studienkolleg) or German language courses. We work with hundreds of universities and language centers throughout Germany.
Bachelor and Master study programs are offered in fields like Engineering, Economics, Natural Sciences, Cultural Studies, Art, Political Science and more.
Do you have a catalog or list of the programs you offer?
There are more than 1300 study programs we could enroll you in, therefore we do not have a catalog or list of programs as it would simply be large and overwhelming. We strongly believe in "tailoring" our offers to the individual student. We look at your situation and prerequisites, check your documents and search study programs that have good prospects to be successful. If you want to general overview, you can take a look at the DAAD study program database.
Which other services do you provide?
As education consultants focusing on university placement service we can help you enroll in a Bachelors or Masters degree program in Germany, a Studienkolleg (preparatory course for higher education in Germany), or a German language course.
In addition to education consulting and university placement services, we offer student visa and scholarship support for students who got admitted to a German university or school. We can also place you in a German language course alongside your studies or help you find a student job. Admitted students also get access to some other unique benefits, like 24/7 consultancy, a buddy system and access to our exclusive international students network.
We also work with private German language tutors and the copywriting service wordfairy.eu who can help you create professional CVs and cover letters in English and German.

Just approach your consultant after you receive your admission letter.

How much do I have to pay?
You will make two payments:
Registration fee: 1/4 of the total price, to be paid upon signing our service agreement
Admission fee: 3/4 of the total price, to be paid upon receiving your admission letter
The concrete payment depends on the program you are signing up for and whether you would like to enroll in a public or private university. UNI-ASSIST fees are included in the registration fee.
Which payment options does Germany EDU offer and how do I pay?
You can pay us via PayPal, credit card or international bank transfer (IBAN). We only take payments in Euro (€). You will receive an invoice with the payment data when you sign our service agreement.
What happens if I get rejected?
Getting rejected for a study program can happen, but it is unlikely. We are experienced in what we are doing and will minimize the risk of rejections through a.) extensively pre-screening your documents looking for common "rejection red flags", and b.) only recommending and applying for study programs that suit your situation. We strongly believe in tailoring our offers to the needs of each student, so we look at your qualifications and preferences carefully and search for study programs that are likely to except you with your individual prerequisites.
However, if it does happen and you do not get a single admission letter, we will start a new round of applications to different programs.
